lalalalalla....

hmm.. time to update my blog again. Well... last wed, Vesak Day, I went to LOTR Exhibition with Yilin. A long time since I had a journey to the west. Missed those days! The exhibition wasn't that great that you go "wow". But still ok... since we got to see the costumes and learnt how they did those visual effects. Its really amazing in a way. They got this newly invented camera that scans real models into the computer and from there, they can animate the model and do whatever effects they want! Saves time!
There were also many "accessories" displayed. I personally like the "Even Star" necklace (worn by Liv Tyler in LOTR) best. There is this section where u can try out various activities and Yilin and I initially wanted to try out the machine where you get to see the 3D image of a roller coaster ride. After queuing for a while, both of us decided to leave becoz we are the only 2 "aunties" who are queuing. haiz.......

After the exhibition, we went to Orchard as I need to buy things. Yah, its me who is doing the "bai jia" again. Bought Clay Aiken CD for a colleague and a wallet for my cousin. As for myself, I got a Adidas Bag which I was eyeing for quite sometime. Priced at $29, think its still ok.

The story doen't end here.... after I went home, I realised that the bag I bought had an upside down label!!!! WTF!
Y am I always so lucky?? I think this kind of incident only happens 1 in a million? Since Adidas is an established brand. So I assume such things should not happen. Anyway, I went back to change it the following day, preparing myself that the sales person might tell me that the 1 I bought is the last one. haha.
Thank god.. I managed to change for a new 1.

I was asking my colleague if she noticed anything wrong with my faulty bag. She see here, see there..
then said "I dun find anything wrong leh."
me - "the label is upside down!"
colleague - "Oh yah! At first I tot the brand was SAPIPA!!!"
hahahaha...... u guys get it?
an upside label of Adidas actually reads Sapipa. Maybe I should have kept the Sapipa bag hor.. at least nobody has a bag of that brand. lol!
