Happy Mother's Day to all mothers in the world... especially my mummy.
How did you guys celebrate? For me, I went to my grandma house to celebrate as usual. It is a yearly event to celebrate with my uncles, aunties, cousins. I hope this tradition carries on. Anyway, we ordered buffet but the food sux. We complain more than we compliment. lolz. Each family contribute 50 bucks somemore. Its not really worth it I think. Next time shall not order from this caterer.
Last year was a boring Mother's Day. Nobody gave any presents. I can't remember why I did not give either... coz usually I am the 1 who does the santa clause job. This year, I decided to give my aunties a little treat. Just something nice and simple and doesn't cost a lot. Each time I have to prepare about 5 to 6 presents because I want to be fair and hope everyone is happy. I got some chocolates for my aunties and a body lotion for my grandma. I think the body lotion makes a gd gift as my grandma needs to on the air-con every night and her skin gets dry. I also printed some mother's day cards. The design of the cards are part of what I did for my portfolio. Keke.. Need to be flexible as I am a busy gal. But I did spend time cutting and pasting.
When it comes to wrapping the presents, my colourful pouches comes in handy again. It looks great as a wrapper, it is not expensive and people can recycle it. How nice! Best thing is you save a lot of time and energy wrapping the presents. lolz.
I hope my aunties will like the little treat. I always think it is heart-warming to receive presents, especially on special occasions like Mother's Day. This is my sincerity to them I guess. I like to give people presents and I like to receive presents too. So to all who is reading my blog. Feel free to shower me with gifts. =)
