Hello people.. Im back from Taipei! Reached Singapore at bout 7pm.
4 hours plus on the plane is still ok... except for the fact that I suffer from blocked ears. On the flight to Taipei, my ears were blocked as soon as the plane takes off. Argh.. and my ears only got better yesterday. So basically, I was partially "deaf" for 2 days. duh!
I declare that Im very broke right now. Spent quite a lot of $. Actually the things at Taipei is quite expensive... maybe even more expensive than Singapore. Hmm.. but the shopping malls there are very big. Food is nice.. especially the Mango Ice dessert, Beef Noodle.. I even tried the Smelly Toufu and it wasn't that bad as I thought.
I also think that the service at Taipei is better than Singapore. They seem more patient and friendly. oh.. just to mention something lame... the sales associates will always greet the customers whenever they see people entering the store. I kept hearing them say "Good Morning" and wondered why they said that even when its night time and since Taiwanese usually don't speak English. It was my cousin who finally caught hold of what they are saying and told me that they actually said 欢迎光临 *in a singing tone*! hehe.
Well, 1st time went travelling without "adults" is indeed a very fun & exciting experience for me. Did a lot of walking and I think my leg muscles are very toned now. haha. Overall, I enjoyed myself very much. A good thing my brother agreed to join my cousin and I. Its really much easier and safer with a guy around. Thanks Ting for the advice. Got to thank my brother too.. becoz he really took care of us.
okie.. shall stop writing as Im too tired. Too many things to blog also... will write and upload some pics when Im free. 4 days have past.. im back to reality... back to my messy house and tons of housework.. sigh! ZZzzz...
