A balanced life is comprised of several elements.
- Your daily life reflects your values. To feel balanced, the activities you complete on a daily basis should reflect your views on what is truly important in life.


- You have a sense of control in your life. Nearly everyone wants to feel control over what they do in life, and without this sense of control, it is nearly impossible to find fulfillment.


- You are happy in the present. You cannot feel balanced if you dwell on events from the past or if you orient yourself completely around the future. Being overly focused on the past or future can turn your present life into an unsatisfactory experience.

Maybe I am indeed pushing myself too hard on certain things.
I was talking to Siling earlier and she mentioned this:

"u alone can't spilt urself up and there's always a limit that a person can do".
But I still wish I can do more. If my mum can do it, why can't I??

Perhaps the 1st step is to open up, communicate and to manage my time properly!

Need a change!! Lazy to meddle with the layout so I changed the colour instead. Hehe.. I think its ugly.. but who cares?

Been feeling very tired and lethargic lately. Can't seem to get my work done. Tsk Tsk...
I want a break. Best if I can sleep for 1 whole day.

Oh yah.. today something very stupid happened. I was having a bad headache and seems like I am going to have a fever soon. So I asked Hilary if she got Panadol. After taking it, I realised that the Panadol is EXPIRED!!!!! wahahaha....

lalalala.... Today went to Yilin's graduation ceremony.
Did not attend the whole ceremony actually... just went there to take picture with my dear friend. hahah.. so long din see yilin wear skirt... hahahaa
*Yilin if you are reading this, PLEASE WEAR SKIRT more often!!*
*And can put on some makeup. Don't wear high heels if you are going out with me ok! hehe.. coz I hardly wear heels already!*

After the ceremony, we all went to Changing Appetite at MS for dinner. Got a huge gang of gals... 7 of us. Then bumped into Pei Pei n her bf. The food there is average only.. or maybe below average. But I was really hungry so I managed to finish 90% of my "Dory Escape". Please don't order that next time because its not nice. Service sux too... the items that we wanted to order are all sold out. How lame is that. They should tell us beforehand lah! Its really annoying when you have finally decided what to eat and then realised that its not available.

Oh something really interesting happened. Was taking the train home with Edalene. After she got off at Bedok, I managed to get a seat. A guy came over and sat next to me. He looked familiar.

Don't tell me he is holding a *Dan Brown's The Da Vinci Code* book and a HMV carrier??

Guess wat!? He was! This was the same guy who sat opposite me when I was on the train to meet Edalene this afternoon! Oh My!!!

I think he recognised me too.. because when he alighted at Tanah Merah, he turned and look at me again. Wahahaha...

You guys may think "Aww.. Isn't it nice and sweet?? We are fated to meet!!"

But no.......... WHY?


Because he is an 30+ year old, fair skinned indian guy. *Not that I am a racist.*

Haiz.. I remembered last year, a similar incident happened too. But the person I saw twice in a MRT train ride was a lady. Still remember she was wearing a really nice pair of addidas shoes. Her dressing was very sporty.

So... I pray to GOD that I can bump into a handsome, charming guy next time. PLEASE??

This stupid illustration took me about 3 days to complete. Still not quite done yet actually. A lot more to touch-up.
Its not drawn by me ok. I'm not that talented. Its done by tracing my photo in illustrator.
But aiyo.. even though its tracing, its still rather tough leh.
Especially the eyes. Wah piang.. so darn difficult. And you got to keep editing.. refine the illustration.

But overall I am still quite happy with it. Afterall its my 1st time doing this kind of "drawing".
Hmm... got to polish my skills... hopefully in the future I can draw without the need of tracing.

She told me that I am no longer youthful because Youth Day is no longer a holiday for me.

She touched my face and exclaimed, "OMG!! You have OILY SKIN!!"
*with a disgusted look*

She said I should not eat watermelon because it makes my face rounder.
*watermelon is round*

She laughed out loud when I started saying, "You know last night I am very suay....."
*apparantly, I almost blinded my right eye when shower foam got into it.*

She asked her mummy not to laugh at my joke when I tried to crack one during dinner.

She asked me not to slang my english though I said I did not have to do that. It was natural.
*okay, I admit I did that on purpose. And my aunt thought I had a ang mo bf. >.<*

She said my HP pouch is very auntie looking.
*I believe it isn't. At least when I use it, I think it don't look auntie at all*

She said "Bye, Ah Soh!" when we parted.

My mummy used to take care of Samantha when she is still a baby. Hmm.. so I practically saw her grew up.
She is 14 already. OMG!! Does that mean that I am old!!?? And I think she will be taller than me.

So I must practise my crapping skills. Cannot let her bully me. muwahahaha....
I was shocked when she told me that she went steady before!
Couldn't quite believe it. Do you guys know how I felt?
